Some people broke out the bubbly and danced in the streets. Some were angry that he didn't get his just desserts after brutalizing the country in the 70s and 80s. Either way, the point is this: you don't want to be like Pinochet and have people acting like they just won the Super Bowl when they hear that you've bought the farm.
